Six people, including two children, have been flown to hospital after a serious two-vehicle crash on the Te Anau-Milford Highway.
Two adults and two children from one vehicle were flown by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital with moderate to major injuries. A couple in the other car were flown to Invercargill Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Te Anau police are at the scene.
The road has been closed as a result of the crash and police have launched a serious crash investigation.
