Six people are facing drugs and firearms charges after a raid in Huntly.
Waikato West area commander Inspector Andrew Mortimore said three firearms, three airguns and two imitation firearms were found, along with firearm parts and a large quantity of ammunition.
Huntly police, with supported from the Waikato Armed Offenders Squad, police Eagle helicopter and drug detector dogs, searched five properties in Huntly West early today.
Five men aged between 26 and 45, and a 35-year-old woman were arrested.
All are due to appear in the Huntly District Court today facing a variety of firearms and drug-related charges.
