Former High Court judge Sir Graham Speight died on Thursday at Orakei's Eastcliffe Hospital.
He was 86.
Sir Graham served as Auckland University's chancellor and as the chairman of Drug- Free Sport New Zealand.
A service will be held at St Mary's in Holy Trinity, Parnell, at 2pm on Wednesday.
