A group of self-confessed "sinners" plan to offer an alternative view when Destiny Church followers march in Wellington on Monday to oppose the Government's Civil Union and Relationships legislation.
Wellingtonians are warned to expect significant disruption as the rival marches head for Parliament, closing roads and forcing buses to divert.
The conservative Destiny Church is organising the "Enough Is Enough" march through the central city.
The sinners - called Against Conservative Fundamentalism - plan to march in support of the legislation ahead of the church group.
A spokesman said: "Enough Is Enough is an attack on the rights of queers, women, single parents, sex workers, de facto couples and anyone else who isn't a Christian fundie nutter."
