The combined voices of the six houses at Wairarapa College lifted in song during the annual House Singing on the last day of term.
Each house presented three songs with a senior, junior and whole house item.
Puketoi were the overall winners with Aorangi second and Maungarake third.
Senior studentstake the lead role in organising the houses and most performances were sung with the accompaniments of student musicians playing guitars, the piano, drums and the flute.
Assistant principal Aaron Perkins says the annual event creates great school spirit with all the houses supporting and applauding one another.
"The seniors showed great leadership and volunteered a large amount of time, along with staff," he said.
Songs ranged from New Zealand singers Brooke Fraser and Stan Walker to international choices Seal and the Black Eyed Peas and a staff composition, Dr Zeuss.
