Members of Auckland's Singaporean community are eagerly awaiting the chance to meet their President today at a tea reception in the Langham Hotel.
President S. R. Nathan is here on a state visit. "To meet our President is almost impossible back in Singapore, unlike in New Zealand, so it would be a great opportunity to be able to meet him here," said Jimmy Lim, a Singaporean businessman living in Auckland.
