A dishonest Canterbury silage broker has been sent back to jail for a year after failing to pay "one cent" of the $335,000 in reparations he was ordered to pay to his rural victims.
Paul Douglas Hadfield, 66, was jailed for three years in 2006 on 81 fraud convictions, but served his sentence without paying any of the reparations ordered.
At a Christchurch District Court hearing yesterday, Judge Michael Crosbie opted for the maximum term.
