Suzy caught this slug in a mousetrap in her kitchen. "I'm not as disturbed by catching it in the trap as I am by there being a slug that size roaming my kitchen!"
Doggone gratitude
Kai Halvorsen and family of Lillestrom, Norway, planning a holiday in Thailand, feared their bulldog, Igor, would be traumatised, having never been left alone. Halvorsen and a friend arranged with Labben Kennel to make a replica of the family living room to calm Igor's anxiety. The two men painted walls the same shade of grey, brought in the family couch, built a replica coffee table and moved in Igor's bed, carpet, pillows and blankets. However, according to the friend, Igor spent most of the holiday cavorting outside with his new friend, Helga, the St Bernard.
An enticing offer.

New bar-finding app Bartrendr apparently invented an offensive fake bar - complete with billboard, shop front and social media accounts - to draw attention to its otherwise inoffensive service. The faux-bar, Gestations, advertised that it was opening in New York's East Village and would offer trimester specials, among other things, for women "drinking for two". But, as several sharp-eyed internet sleuths have noted, all of Gestations' marketing material also prominently plugs this app.
