Someone scaled the roof of Nature Baby in Grey Lynn and hung an English landscape across the signage. "Part art heist, part tagger, part poet and very Grey Lynn," says owner Jacob Faull.

John writes: "My lovely wife Polly is always losing her mobile, and as she doesn't get a lot of calls, is not overly familiar with the ring. The other day she couldn't find it anywhere so picked up the landline in the office and rang her mobile. She was delighted to hear it ringing but couldn't find it anywhere. She raced into the bedroom thinking it was there. It wasn't. Then repeated this exercise in most rooms of the house finally arriving back in the kitchen laughing her head off ... it was in her pocket!"

Transport not the problem

A reader responds to yesterday's Sideswipe item: "I always catch public transport to and from Eden Park. I struggle to understand why Tony got a train to Britomart and then tried to get a free bus to Takapuna. There are free buses provided to serve many areas of Auckland for rugby patrons including Takapuna. It stops on Hurstmere Rd next to The Elephant Wrestler. Don't blame Auckland Transport for this one mate!"

Get correct info, Tony

For future excursions Tony might like to make note that buses to Takapuna leave from Albert St, not Britomart. There are maps at the Britomart Transport Centre pointing customers to the appropriate bus stop.
