Child retaliates against camper van humour
Australian Wicked Campers is being hauled over the coals over yet another offensive slogan painted on one of its camper vans. Paula Orbea, of Sydney, was livid when her 11-year-old daughter told her about a van she spotted in the Blue Mountains which read: "In every princess, there's a little slut who wants to try it just once". She launched a petition calling on Brisbane-based Wicked Campers to remove slogans labelled as degrading to women and helped her daughter register a complaint with the Advertising Standards Bureau. Wicked Campers slogans condemned by the ASB this year include "Get out ya tits and we'll call it quits" and "Fat girls are harder to kidnap". (Via ABC.com.au)

Handel brings out the inner crowd-surfer
Prominent theoretical chemist David Glowacki was ejected from a classical music concert at England's Bristol Old Vic for disrupting a performance of Handel's Messiah by attempting to crowd-surf in front of the stage. Dr Glowacki was attending a special "informal" performance at which audience members were encouraged to stand and cheer loudly instead of showing the usual demure appreciation. He said that he could not control himself during the Hallelujah Chorus. (Source: Weird Universe)
