Socks education fills the gap
In Mississippi 76 per cent of teenagers report having sex before the end of high school and a third of babies in the state are born to teenage mothers, yet the education laws won't allow teachers to demonstrate how to use condoms. One sex education teacher has come up with a creative solution, making a YouTube video in which he carefully explains how to put on a sock. "If you're going to engage in a shoe-related activity, make sure that your foot is protected. Make sure you use a sock each and every time," he says, adding that his advice applies "whether you're wearing dress shoes or athletic shoes".

Yoga pants a turn on
A Christian woman in Oregon has decided not to wear yoga pants or leggings in public because it "creates a stronger attraction for a man to look at a woman's body and may cause them to think lustful thoughts". Veronica Partridge blogged about the "conviction weighing heavy on my heart". She discussed it with her husband and he admitted that it was "hard not to look" at women wearing yoga pants. Partridge concluded: "If it is difficult for my husband who loves, honours, and respects me to keep his eyes focused ahead, then how much more difficult could it be for a man that may not have the same self-control? Sure, if a man wants to look, they are going to look, but why entice them? Is it possible that the thin, form-fitting yoga pants or leggings could make a married [or single] man look at a woman in a way he should only look at his wife?"
