80s teen fiction: It's No Crush, I'm In Love! (1982) Fantastic cover of a Tom Selleck-styled teacher, nonchalantly chewing on the end of his glasses, lost deep in thought. Check out more 80s teen fiction over at Awful Library Books.
Buy this (for me): Wonder Woman apron.
So this is what real women look like: My Body Gallery is a searchable database of photographs of women, including details of height, weight, body shape, and dress sizes... So you can look at someone with the same specs as yourself and be either mortified or realise there's no point in getting bogged down in the detail because no two bodies are the same. (You will have to convert pounds to kilos, and you'll have to weight yourself *sigh*).
Picture this: Where the Children Sleep is a photographic documentary showing children from all over the world and where they sleep.
The latest photo-posing meme: Horsemaning (fake beheading) is the new planking. Apparently it began with this photo from the 1920s, "found at a flea market" and then people started emulating it. Owling (perching like an owl) was supposed to be the next planking, but never took flight; but this is a goodie.
