In England, Islington Council officials have placed extra police patrols outside the Andover Estate and apologised to some of the residents there. Officials say they accidentally revealed the names, telephone numbers and other personal information of those who had called in with complaints about loud music, verbal abuse and other anti-social behaviour to those they accused. Kaiwaka lights up the drive north
Kim writes: "My husband and I were driving past Kaiwaka [20km north of Wellsford] on Wednesday night and noted an abundance of decorative lights greeting us from residential and commercial premises alike. We were wondering if this is the year-round norm for Kaiwaka and if it is an organised community effort? Certainly it gave us a lift on our trip through to Whangarei."
