Scratched in the concrete is "Nicola 4 Glen". "Nearby work is under way to replace and widen the footpaths and it is just a matter of time before this heartfelt etching disappears forever," she writes. "I'd love it if you could help me find out whatever happened to Nicola and Glen. Did they make it? Is it a tragic love story? Or maybe ... unrequited lust? It would be lovely to know before the pavement gets turned into dust."

At one with nature and a good book
