National claims the Government is doing nothing about what it calls the staggering increase in the number of teenagers on the sickness benefit.
National welfare spokeswoman Judith Collins said the number of people aged 16 to 19 on the sickness benefit had increased by more than 100 per cent since Labour took office.
Social Development Minister Ruth Dyson could not be contacted for comment.
