The trial of Dean Stewart Cameron on charges of rape and murder of Papanui schoolgirl Marie Davis is not sitting today because of a sick juror.
The trial in the High Court at Christchurch is now expected to resume at 10am on Tuesday, Christchurch Court News website reported.
Today would have been the sixth day of the trial of the 39-year-old road worker.
The crown plans to call evidence from 70 witnesses at the four-week trial before Justice Lester Chisholm and the jury.
