Shrek baas all in new book

Shrek, the world's most famous sheep, is back on the road again.

"Retired" from travelling around the country two years ago, the 16-year-old merino wether has recently begun a promotional tour for a new book.

Owner and author John Perriam of Bendigo Station says he and Shrek will be visiting well-known people and places around New Zealand before the book he is writing is launched, probably in November. Mr Perriam says the book will be "the first in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at Shrek's life".

Any royalties will go to the charity Cure Kids.
