Geneva Topp, 11, of Martinborough and Greenlee Senator, who featured prominently at the recent Horse of the Year Show in Hastings.Competing in show hunter category four class they placed first in the first year registered event and second in the Welcome Pony Show Hunter event. In the Rising Star Hunter class (flat) they were third in manners and paces and fifth in hunter (flat) and they also placed fourth in Welsh in hand (section B). Geneva and Tubby-as Greenlee Senator is nick-named- are a new combination, having been together for just six weeks. Their victory in the first year registered event was especially notable as it was only Tubby's second appearance in a show hunter class and he jumped superbly to beat off several more experienced rivals.
