KEY POINTS:
Police are asking friends of dead teenager Liam Ashley to show some consideration for his family after a series of dangerous antics - the latest of which resulted in an 18-year-old being bitten by a police dog.
Liam's friends have been climbing 30m trees and landmarks to fly Jolly Roger flags and emblems to "commemorate the lifestyle" they had with him.
North Shore Inspector Les Paterson says the actions of the teenagers are dangerous and the last thing the grieving Ashley family need.
