The weather played its part for the Wairarapa A&P; show this weekend, with hundreds turning out to the annual event at the Clareville showgrounds.
Competitors for events from horse showjumping to woodchopping turned out in droves, and rides and entertainers drew plenty of spectators.
The show was the 135th occasion it has been held and a recent recruitment drive for A&P; Society members was so successful it doubled its numbers, ensuring the show will continue for many years to come.
