Police say shots have been fired from a high powered air rifle at an incident on Auckland's North Shore this evening.
Cordons have been set up in the area of Awaruku Road in the suburb of Torbay and the Armed Offender Squad is currently dealing with the incident
Police said no one has been injured at this stage
Cordons are in place on surrounding roads and both traffic and pedestrians are unable to enter the area.
