The Wellington Armed Offenders Squad raced to the Kapiti Coast after multiple calls from the public that gun fire was coming from a house at 5.15pm.
Shortly after police received numerous calls relating to a vehicle being driven erratically in the area.
A vehicle was also reportedly damaged with baseball bats and a house door damaged with a hammer.
Three Paraparaumu men aged 26, 28 and 53 are helping police in what they say appears to be a feud between two parties.
