Shotover Jet Queenstown is again giving white-knuckle rides on the Shotover River, after its jetboats passed a safety inspection yesterday.
The company's fleet had been kept out of the water after one of the seven boats caught fire and sank last Sunday while a group of passengers was waiting to board.
Since the incident, the company's boats have been modified and undergone a safety audit from the Queenstown harbourmaster and Maritime New Zealand.
