An 18-year-old facing firearms charges after his accomplice was shot was remanded on bail when he appeared in Dargaville District Court today.
Vinnie Robinson will reappear on October 2 for a pre-depositions hearing, after he was bailed by Judge Keith de Reidder.
He had been charged with unlawful possession of a pistol and accessory after the fact relating to a burglary last month.
John Hurst, 19, who was accidentally shot in the leg, has been charged with burglary and firearms charges.
Hurst will appear for a bail hearing tomorrow.
Hurst and Robinson allegedly took a 9mm semi-automatic pistol from a family member, a fully licensed holder, and were travelling in a car on August 27 when the gun went off.
Hurst was hit in the leg and is recovering from surgery.
