KEY POINTS:
Ambulance officers were abused by a gang of youths when they attended the shooting of a 17-year-old in Masterton early yesterday morning.
The teen was shot in the leg during an apparent neighbour dispute about 5am.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man.
He was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
The man will appear in the Masterton District Court tomorrow.
