Masterton's iconic Golden Shears will again be held in the War Memorial Stadium after the building was ruled out as an earthquake risk last week.
The Dixon St stadium was one of more than 250 buildings in Masterton identified as being "possibly earthquake-prone" because of its age.
A report has confirmed the stadium has reached 43 per cent of the seismic performance standard at its weakest point - over the 33 per cent minimum.
Masterton District Council chief executive Wes ten Hove said the event committee had considered possible venues for the event in case the building was found to be a risk.
One option was the stadium at the Clareville complex.
