A Christchurch shearer continued working while claiming ACC for a back injury, a court has been told.
Grant Turner, 56, was ordered to repay more than $37,000 and sentenced to 300 hours' community service when he appeared in the Christchurch District Court this week.
He pleaded guilty to nine charges of dishonestly using a document.
Judge Neave said Turner's offending impacted on the whole community and undermined the ACC system.
