An earthquake felt at Castlepoint yesterday was the latest of four tremors that struck the region since Friday, according to GeoNet.
The quake yesterday was magnitude 3.0 and struck at 6.58am about 15km west of Castlepoint.
GeoNet tables desrcibed the tremor as weak and recorded that the quake struck at a depth of about 20km.
Three quakes shook Wairarapa on Friday, with the first a 3.5 magnitude tremor that struck about 5km south-east of Eketahuna at 8.32am.
About an hour later a 3.3 magnitude quake struck about 15km south-east of Pongaroa and a 3.5 magnitude tremor struck about 8.32pm that day about 10km east of the same district.
