SH73 at Kumara reopens after truck accident

A truck accident on the West Coast closed State Highway 73 at Kumara, north of Hokitika, for about an hour and-a-half this morning.

Sergeant Dean Murray said the truck had driven off the road, partially blocking it.

He said there were no reported injuries caused by the accident.

Mr Murray said the truck was removed by 9am and the road has re-opened.
