SH2 jammed from Mangatawhiri to Bombays

A crash outside the Castle Cafe at Mangatawhiri on State Highway 2 has traffic backed up all the way to the Bombay Hills.

A truck rolled on the busy stretch of highway south of Auckland forcing its closure.

Senior Sergeant Rob Arnold of Pukekohe police it took some time to find a crane large enough to clear the truck and trailer.


The road was re-opened after 2pm.
