KEY POINTS:
State Highway 1 between Clinton and Balclutha in Otago has reopened after a trailer, being towed by a truck, flipped this morning depositing its load of mesh on the road.
Police said the truck driver was not injured in the 3.30am crash.
Drivers were asked to take care driving through the area while a traffic management team cleaned the scene.
