SH1 closed between Cambridge and Tirau

State Highway One has been closed halfway between Cambridge and Tirau after a truck rolled spilling its load of sawdust across all lanes this morning.

Police said no one was injured in the crash, but the road will be closed for some hours while the scene is cleared up.

Traffic diversions will be in place until the road is reopened.
