Sexual assault charge for 16-year-old

A 16-year-old Rotorua boy will appear in court today after he allegedly broke into a Mt Maunganui house on Sunday night and sexually assaulted and threatened to kill a 32-year-old female tourist.

The teen faces charges in the Tauranga Youth Court including sexual violation, threatening to kill and burglary. The woman needed medical treatment for her injuries.
