Sex worker shot in drive-by

A battle for territory is being investigated as one possible reason behind a drive-by shooting early yesterday that has left a South Auckland prostitute in hospital with serious injuries.

It is believed a car pulled up alongside the curb at Hunters Corner in Papatoetoe and a woman leaned out the window and shot the sex worker in the head.
