People need to change their attitudes and behaviour to tackle shamefully high rates of sexual abuse, the Children's Commissioner says.
Dr Cindy Kiro said people should be ashamed of the findings in a University of Auckland study. "Unfortunately, [the] survey findings back up earlier studies on child sexual abuse, so this is not new. Doing something more about this is what is needed. It is vitally important that we address the issue of child sexual abuse."
