Severe surface flooding in Western Bay of Plenty is making driving conditions difficult.
Police are warning motorists, in particular in the Pyes Pa area, that they must be patient and cautious when travelling there today.
Paddocks are flooding and overflowing onto State Highway 36, Pyes Pa Road, making it virtually impassable.
