Several Head Hunters gang members have been arrested in Christchurch this morning after a major four-month police investigation.
The members were charged with offences ranging from participation in an organised crime group to supplying the class-A controlled drug methamphetamine.
Multiple members and associates of the gang were also arrested in the past six weeks.
Detective Inspector Darryl Sweeney said those charged would appear before the courts over the coming days.
"This action is a clear signal to the gang and organised crime in general that the police will take action to dismantle and disrupt gang crime and the impact of drug dealing in our communities," he said.
