KEY POINTS:
TMP Worldwide won seven awards at the annual Fairfax Employment Marketing Awards (FEMA), including Recruitment Advertising Agency of the Year and the Best Recruitment Agency Employee.
The FEMAs recognise companies and people who have made a significant contribution in their field of recruitment and recruitment advertising.
Alex Walker, CEO and owner of the company said: "We know who we are, why we exist and where we are heading.
"Others look to diversify but we have deliberately maintained our focus on specialising in the candidate attraction, conversion and retention space.
"It was fantastic to see TMP clients being justly recognised on the night too, for their ground-breaking recruitment strategies.
"TMP Worldwide's scoop included work for clients Newcrest Mining, Hudson and Solid Energy, the latter demonstrating the company's strength in the New Zealand market, being the only New Zealand agency to win.
The company was also a runner up in many of the categories it won.
Walker said: "It's a pretty clear demonstration that our clients, our staff and our direction are truly world class. In a service business such as advertising, the best results for clients will almost always be delivered by the structural combination of a powerful international brand with local ownership."
The FEMAs were held in Sydney, Australia, on Friday, October 27.
