Vehicles attempting to avoid a plank of wood on Auckland's Harbour Bridge has resulted in a seven-vehicle nose-to-tail crash.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes about 1.15pm, northern police communications shift Inspector Tony Wakelin said.
Nobody was injured in the incident, he said.
The third and fourth lane on the bridge were closed while the crash was cleared, he said.
It was not known where the 1.2m piece of wood came from, but police would be reviewing CCTV footage to find out.
