Police have now made seven arrests in connection with a robbery and shooting in Wanganui this month.
A farmer was shot while another suffered facial injuries in the attack near the Wanganui River Rd on October 3.
Police said both were recovering from their ordeal but refused to reveal any further details as the case was now before the courts.
Central District communications manager Kim Perks said today police had arrested two men they had been hunting since the incident.
Turaahui Wiari, 27, was arrested in Papakura, in Auckland on Wednesday, and appeared in a South Auckland court charged with aggravated robbery and attempted murder. He was remanded in custody.
Earl Waitokia, 32, and two women were arrested in Wanganui this morning.
Waitoka was charged with aggravated robbery and attempted murder and the women, aged 25 and 34, were charged with being an accessory after the fact. They are suspected of harbouring the offenders.
