A Masterton cabbie and pharmacy team have been singled out for their outstanding people skills, and making their customers' day.
Shaun Evans of Rideshop Cabs Masterton has been presented the 2014 Wairarapa Won Award, which recognises exceptional service from either an individual or business in the region.
Mr Evans was nominated by Rideshop customer Mildred Tully, who described him as a "lovely, polite young man," and praised him for his "excellent customer service".
Wairarapa Won also recognised the staff of Masterton Medical Pharmacy for its customer service with a Highly Commended award.
Masterton woman Amberly Sutherland nominated the pharmacy crew, saying, "Not only have the team at Masterton Medical Pharmacy made my day on many occasions, but sitting in the pharmacy today, I realised they have done the same for many others.
