The Wairarapa Won Award for March/April is cafe Food For Thought in Masterton.
Yvonne McNeil and the team were nominated by Steve Sale after his coffee was spilled on his meal and he had both the coffee and meal replaced at no charge. Mr Sale said the staff are "always so friendly and helpful but this was beyond what I expected".
Highly commended for the month was Sheryl Turley at Milady Lingerie in Masterton.
Ms Turley was nominated by Shirley Wallis who said: "Sheryl went to great lengths to order in a garment from Australia. She kept me well informed throughout, had a cheerful, helpful attitude and was a very nice lady to deal with".
The Wairarapa Won Awards were set up two years ago to recognise exceptional service from either an individual or business in the region.
