KEY POINTS:
Police hunting two men who held up a Dannevirke service station with a knife and crowbar early today believe they have now switched vehicles.
The duo, described as in their late teens/early 20s, entered the Caltex Service Station about 5.15am.
They confronted the female attendant with a knife and crowbar and stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash.
They fled the scene in a white Mazda utility that had been stolen from Foxton the previous evening.
A Dannevirke police spokeswoman said police had located the Mazda and were now searching for an older style, blue Holden Commodore which they believe the pair had stolen.
