KEY POINTS:
A memorial service for photojournalist Trent Keegan, who was found dead in a ditch in Kenya last week, will be held in Ireland today.
Keegan had recently lived in Galway working for several newspapers and magazines but he had been in Kenya since March 25 on a freelance assignment.
His New Zealand funeral is at St Joseph's Church in New Plymouth on Saturday at 11am.
