Two people have been seriously hurt in a two-car crash in central Auckland tonight.
A police spokeswoman said they were called to the intersection of Upper Queen St and Newton Rd, in Eden Terrace, just after 8.40pm. One person was trapped following the crash.
St John tweeted that two people were seriously injured in the crash. They were taken to Auckland City Hospital.
Another three people in the vehicles were not hurt.
