A motorcyclist has died following a crash on State Highway 4 between Whanganui and Raetihi.
Police said the single vehicle crash was reported at 1.15pm on Monday and the rider died at the scene.
“State Highway 4 remains closed, diversions are in place. The Serious Crash Unit are on the scene.”
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said one ambulance crew attended.
New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi said the crash happened south of Ohotu Rd in Waimarino.
