Birdwood Rd in Massey has been re-opened after a serious crash.
A person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash in the Auckland suburb around 12:30pm.
The road was closed while police investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash and it was not clear whether the car had come off the road.Fire Service attended but did not need to extract the driver.
A spokesman said it appeared that a van had rolled.
