Counties Manukau Police are seeking three men who robbed security guards at an ATM machine late this morning.
The security guards were outside a Westpac ATM in Clendon, west of Manurewa, when they were approached by three men, two of whom had firearms.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jason Malcolm said the offenders stole some money before leaving in a stolen silver Honda Prelude which was later found in Glennis Place, Clendon Park.
They left this area in a white people mover vehicle with some other occupants.
Mr Malcolm said the three offenders were Maori or Polynesian. They wore face coverings which were either blue or another dark colour.
The people mover driver was a 19 to 20-year-old Caucasian with short blonde/dyed hair, a long nose and wearing a dark t-shirt. No descriptions of the others in the vehicle was available.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
