She said Mr Grille had internationally published articles on parenting and child development and his first book, Parenting for a Peaceful World had won international acclaim and led him to complete speaking engagements in Australia, the US, Britain and New Zealand.
His second book Heart to Heart Parenting was now available in an updated US edition.
"Robin's work is animated by his belief that humanity's future is largely dependent on the way we collectively relate to our children," she said.
Mr Grille would support parents during the two-hour seminar in "reclaiming their power as a parent and discovering the key to their child's self motivation", she said, and will "take a deep look at how to unlock this motivation and most importantly, he will share ideas on how to have fun in the process".
Mrs Mason said sponsors of the event include Hedleys Books, Printcraft, Rival Wealth and Wiz Wireless and the event "will be beneficial for educators as well as parents who want to motivate children through more than rewards or fear".
"Robin Grille's philosophy of peaceful parenting and empowering children to want to help align closely with what we want to promote at Wairarapa Parents Centre. We have a wonderful opportunity hosting such an expert so we encourage everyone to bring questions along."
-The seminar runs at the Carterton Events Centre from 7pm on April 29. Tickets cost $25 and are available at eventfinder.co.nz
