A second Wanaka youth has been sentenced for his role in a group assault on two visiting Englishmen last October.
The 17-year-old appeared before Judge Kevin Phillips in the Queenstown Youth Court last week on one charge of assault with intent to injure.
Judge Phillips found the charge was proved and ordered the youth to complete a programme of supervision for six months.
The judge also requested he receive a monitoring report every two months and ordered him to complete 150 hours of community work and make a $500 donation to Wanaka St John.
The youth is the second of four Wanaka teenagers to answer charges in the Queenstown Youth Court following the October 31 assault on the men, aged 25 and 27.
